Review of The Signal (2007) by Jimena L — 21 Oct 2009
The Signal pulls off an impressive hat trick: 1) it's a rare "anthology" film (where three directors tackle three segments) that really works (perhaps because they tell a single narrative instead of three short stories), 2) it's a great independent horror movie and 3) it contains some really funny horror comedy.
The third act isn't quite as good as the others, but all in all, this is a must-see for genre fans.
