Review of The Siege of Jadotville (2016) by Adelmo S — 09 Nov 2016
This little episode in Ireland's history is an amazing story of teamwork and creativity for survival in the face of postcolonial evil. It takes place in the same political mess that informed that great old 60s action adventure, "Dark of the Sun," and even if it's not as good a character study, it's still just as exciting.
That said, Mark Strong and Guillaume Canet are pretty good villains, and Jamie Dornan is perfectly credible as a military officer.
