Review of The Shrine (2010) by Dov D — 28 Sep 2012
I was surprised to find myself enjoying this film towards the end; however, the abysmal acting performances (for the most part) and cinematography that seemed like it belonged in a history channel documentary prevent me from giving this movie any more than two stars.
.. This movie achieved surprising levels of suspense and delivered several genuine scares along the way for how poorly it began. My advice, push past the first half hour, then just enjoy.
