Review of The Shrine (2010) by George I — 17 Oct 2012

If it werent for how attractive the simple premise and the performances of the three main characters this movie wouldve been unbearable. This movie had an opportunity to do something good and it just fell apart in the 2nd act and final confrontation.

Honestly not worth the time. It also makes no effort in into explaining anything. We are just expected to take it for what it is and accept everything thats going on and im sorry thats just not going to happen.

Then unexpectedly it becomes some kinda exorcism movie at the end I was like ummmmm I typically like them but because this wasnt what it appeared tp be o find it very misleading and I hate that. Then again I didnt see the trailers but took it for the simple synopsis on netflix.
