Review of The Shop Around the Corner (1940) by Anna C — 20 Jul 2007

This film is, perhaps, my ultimate favorite movie of all time. Jimmy Stewart and Margaret Sullivan are lovers and they don't know it! A wonderful story about lovers who communique through letters and end up harriedly working together without realizing it! If you ever seen You've Got Mail, then you would be familiar with the story, although I think the original is the best! I thought the chemistry was great, the story even better, with a great array of supporting characters to make the experience enjoyable.
