It stars Kevin Spacey, Julianne Moore and Cate Blanchett - three of the finest actors working today - and is based on the Pulitzer Prize winning novel by Annie "Brokeback Mountain" Proulx. It couldn't possibly fail.
... yet it does; this is spectacularly, embarrassingly bad.
