Review of The Shining (1980) by Dylan H — 27 May 2014
Deeply terrifying and more of a thriller and mystery than a horror, Kubrick masterfully creates a film that is equally terrifying as the Stephen King novel. Nicholson's performance stands the test of time and reminds us why a madman's brain and psychosis can be more frightening than a madman with a chainsaw.
