Review of The Shining (1980) by Nico S — 22 Dec 2015
Kubrick took King's book and made it his own work of art. Every shot is terrifyingly beautiful with so much put into every shot. The score is the scariest score of all time. The acting is iffy at times but it doesn't make you wanna look away, it's the environment that Kubrick creates with such precision and attention to detail that makes this movie more than just an average horror movie, it is a piece of art that cab be studied for decades and decades to come.
