Review of The Shining (1980) by Cristi T — 10 Jul 2016
Stanley Kubrick's The Shining is exciting, suspenseful and down right creepy. It is a great film with exceptional performances by Jack Nicolson (Jack Torrance) and Shelley Duvall (Wendy Torrance). It's only flaws lies in narration (much of the story is left out) and an ending that seems to drag on. However, despite these flaws, The Shining remains one of the most thrilling horror movies ever made.
8/10.
