Review of The Shining (1980) by Boris K — 04 Apr 2015
High quality horror movie. Although some aspects are left un-explained. Probably some explanation is given in an original book by Stephen King. Also I find interesting Kubric's (director) usage of modern academic music -- Bartok, Ligetty.
These kind of music is hard to understand and love, but with the help of Kubric's films it is easier.
