Review of The Shepherd: Border Patrol (2008) by Steve M — 28 Feb 2010
To think that JCVD used to be a headlining action star. Apart from the lousy score and uneven direction, there's one telling scene that summarizes everything that's wrong with the movie: when a bus crashes through a police car barricade, the hoods pop open and the engine bays are EMPTY -- no motors, no transmissions, no gas tanks.
Just empty shells. Like the plot. It's a decent premise that suffers from a lack of funding (and possibly talent) in the production.
