If you are thinking of walking out halfway.... do it. This movie starts slow and gets slower and worser. This movie is about nothing, says nothing, goes nowhere. Story is thin thin thin stupid insipid.
What's worse than film noir? Faux noir. Creature from the Black Lagoon meets The Piano meets No Country for Old Men. It's hard to even say what's so wrong with this movie because the answer is Everything.
