I get that the story centered on those who are different . How they can suffer unimaginable cruelties at the hands of the ignorant. However the film dwelled too much on the sadistic, the unnecessary tortures, and just depressed this viewer to the point I just fast forwarded thru most of it.
The ending was so so . I don't see why it got a rating it did.
