Guillermo del Toro's latest is a beautiful, romantic and fantastical love letter to unconventional love. The score by Alexandre Desplat is magnificent, some of which reminded me of Spirited Away. Extraordinary performances all around, from a mute Sally Hawkins to an intense Michael Shannon, and all in between.
