Review of The Shallows (2016) by Rob S — 30 Dec 2016

Here's what I liked: Blake Lively plays all the emotions of her character perfectly, where, in lesser hands, could have seemed melodramatic. Also, some of the photography in this film will take your breath away. The movie goes by really fast, which is the mark of an interesting film.

Here's what I didn't like: we are made to believe a shark has it out for one person. And there is only the one shark, with a dying whale in the water.And the way the shark gets it in the end is so ridiculous that I thought I was watching Jaws 4 for a moment.
