Besides "Jaws," shark movies have not held much interest. Surfer movies however usually are pleasant and even inspiring surprises. This film is both, tho' mostly shark - and Blake Lively proves she has chops as a damsel in a pickle of distress when compared with "Age of Adaline" and "Cafe Society" - or "Gossip Girl.
" So here's a good show, not too long, well done. The only thing to change would be the fate of the shark. How it should be changed would be a Spoiler. But this is a surprisingly good, tense yarn of which even Spielberg likely would approve! | ~ Norm de Guerre.
