Review of The Shallows (2016) by Kasey G — 04 Nov 2017
The scenery alone makes this worth watching. The color of the water is breathtaking and the underwater filming is excellent. Blake Lively does a great job and her fight for survival is inspiring. The score adds to the sense of dread.
The ending is perhaps far-fetched, but I didn't care at that point. Showed my daughters the movie because they have been teased as girls and I wanted them to see a strong, tough female character. Probably my favorite shark movie.
