Review of The Shallows (2016) by Terrible_Lizard — 08 Jul 2016
The first two-thirds of the movie are deadly serious, while the last third turns a bit campy. However this works in the film's favor, as a stress reliever. The underwater camera work is excellent, and the wounded seagull is the best non-human companion since Wilson.
If you want some dread, some jump scares and a brave Blake Lively (with a lively rear end), check it out.
