Review of The Shallows (2016) by Lambo442 — 21 Sep 2016
This is a beautifully shot movie in a gorgeous location juxtaposed with a not-so-beautiful shark with a hankering for human flesh. There's jut enough character development to keep you engaged in the protagonists fight for survival and the action is well paced and builds nicely up until the all-out close quarters battle between woman and fish.
Some of he lower scores really confuse me as to me it's pretty much a perfect piece of cinema, hugely suspenseful and entertaining if not a little far - fetched at times and somewhat unoriginal.
