Review of The Shallows (2016) by Tod P — 10 Jul 2016
I was concerned that this movie could hold my attention. The subject matter is fairly limited and we have seen a lot about sharks between the time Jaws burst on the scene and the endless shark weeks. I was worried about nothing.
Blake Lively is terrific. The shark is scary. The tension is tight and the story is mostly plausible. A good-time summer movie.
