Wow, talk about a heavy film. I love this message that the film relays in which God may reach out to us in our own unique ways in order to connect to us on a deeper level. This explores faith in a different perspective and it absolutely fascinated me.
Sure one could argue that some of the scenes were expanded a little much and the film was overlong, but this is an excellent Christian-drama film that tugs at the heartstrings hard. Octavia Spencer and Sam Worthington were excellent.
