Review of The Shack (2017) by Jared Y — 08 May 2018
Wow, what an under rated movie. Is it perfect? Yes the pacing is slow, and this is a very faith based movie. But the slow pacing is actually not a bad thing, it makes this movie feel like a real journey and each revelation has to be "earned" .
This movie is extremely well directed, balanced, and emotionally stirring. Each shot in this film is done with incredible attention to detail. The cinematography and the story are absolutely beautiful, extremely emotional in the ending.
Fantastic performances all around by the entire cast.
