Review of The Shack (2017) by Michele R — 12 Mar 2017
It's a must see. I've heard some folks think it's not biblically sound but the message that things are just better when you do it with God than without overrides that for me. In addition, there are powerful messages about forgiveness and judgment and acceptance.
There was a scene when the main character thinks he steps out on faith and he fails. Then he is reminded that some things just don't work if you aren't partnered up with God. When he leans on the Lord, he succeeds.
While the critics were less than impressed, I think it was a very timely spiritually uplifting film.
