Review of The Shack (2017) by Julie B — 26 Nov 2017

The Film is incredibly true to the best selling book and is beautifully shot, directed and acted. It would be a tragedy if the critics' failure to grasp the power of the story to change lives, as it evidently has even for the actors involved judging by their interviews, prevented anyone from seeing it.

The film focusses on how pain and tragedy can prevent people living even as they live and how healing can be found through love and forgiveness. The most incredible aspect however is the portrayal of the nature of God (as Father Son and Spirit) and Gods relationship with his creation in a way that opened my understanding, blew my mind and blew away many misunderstandings.
