Review of The Shack (2017) by Kdog152 — 01 Aug 2023
I don't see why ppl didn't like this film. It's not perfect, but it's successful in the message it's trying to put forward. It's a hart warming story of forgiveness and salvation. Now would I forgive someone who killed my own daughter, no, but that's not the point.
The message is that there is always light at the end of the tunnel and no matter how painful and meaningless life can feel, there's always a way to change if you have the goodness and want in your heart to do it.
(I for one would know with the stuff I've been through in the past). I may be an atheist, but even I can see what this movie has to offer. If you are an atheist, that's fine, but don't review bomb a film just bc you don't believe in God.
If this was a woke film, I'd understand the review bombing bc wokeness is evil, but this film is not woke so the negativity isn't deserved.
