Review of The Shack (2017) by Charlie D — 03 Mar 2017
Beautiful visuals, down to earth, a rare glimpse at a truly appealing picture of God. Sam really brought great emotion and believability to this film and Jesus and Papa characters were especially touching.
It is a great shame that even with such a picture of pure beauty before their eyes, most of the world will not see it for the attractive stunning picture it is. Not sure if I have ever seen such a fantastic adaptation of book to movie.
Most of the main themes intact and played out wonderfully, even on such a different medium. Overall fresh, human, great questions asked, down to earth answers given. We can only hope it's all true and more, and embrace this message that is so over the heads of the critical.
Wonderful job, thoroughly enjoyed the film, thank you!!!
