Review of The Shack (2017) by Ethan F — 13 Mar 2017
Hands down the most emotionally gripping movie of 2017 so far. Though cheesy at times, and despite the fact Worthington doesn't bother trying an American accent...this movie, in my opinion, appeals to that quiet, sensitive side we don't show almost anybody.
It shows a man's real anger towards God, life, and injustice. Best of all, it shows the metamorphosis from a man who runs away from the hard questions, into a man who leads his family and provides an example, breaking the chain of abuse in his own family history.
Amazing movie actually. Though be prepared to cry...there wasn't a dry eye in the audience.
