While Bullitt and The French Connection have great car chases/scenes, this movie has the best one ever made, hands down. Normal cars (for that time,) more realistic setting, shocker at the end, it's priceless.
It's got a lot of recycled bits from Bullitt, but the same guys made it. Bill Hickman driving the big Pontiac also drove the Charger in Bullitt.
