Finally got to see this and it was one of the best films out of 2012 for sure. I am sure the material of a paralyzed man seeing a sex shrink is what kept most people from seeing it, but it was quite a great look at a man trying to discover something about himself he never got to before.

Hawkes is just amazing here, and Hunt and Macy is fantastic too. Even the bit performances by his assistants are great. Leaves you wishing they got more screen time.

I loved how it showed that if women would just give the guy a chance, maybe feelings would overcome his disability.

Hunt gets naked...a LOT! Just to warn you. And for her age, her body is quite amazing. I totally bought her character, as she never seemed shy at all to bare everything. Her brief scene with Perlman confirms this.

And there were at least three scenes that really moved me. The very final shot made me cry hard.
