There's a great deal of emotion behind this movie, but its subject matter is a bit uncomfortable and the plot is slow moving so I can see how it's not for everyone. If you're not bothered by the topic and you don't mind watching something for the acting rather than the action, this is worth sitting through.
Otherwise, you're probably better off skipping it.
