Review of The Serpent and the Rainbow (1988) by Garland H — 15 Jun 2007
Wes Craven's shameless sensationalized version of the book by entheobotanist Wade Davis. Voodoo, Zombies, and the Tan-tan-makut all mix to create a very surreal story. A non-conventional horror movie, for sure.
Very creepy visuals. Best watched under the influence of fugu.
