Review of The Serpent and the Rainbow (1988) by Kevin C — 12 Apr 2008
As not much a fan of horror movies for they seem to lack depth and focus more on jumpy scares than lasting terror. This movie starts good and gets better. First it begins with a strong plot and untouched horror territory, the world of voodoo.
It follows up with haunting dream sequences and chilling hallucinations. This film comes as close as you can get to putting you in the coffin alive.
