One of Wes Craven's best. Also the best, and most realistic movie featuring â??realâ?? zombies and the darker aspects of voodoo. Itâ??s more of a psychological thriller than a horror movie. Eerie, rich and varied, and loaded with heavy atmosphere.
Too bad that the film becomes a typical horror film in its final moments.
