Review of The September Issue (2009) by Andrew W — 11 Sep 2009
Cuttler attempts to show the dynamics between Anna and Grace, and how the two need each other to accomplish creating a successful Vogue issue but misses the mark. He fails to show any human qualities in the relationship.
up until the end Grace comes off as incompetent and Anna comes off as arbitrary. He also fails to recognize or admit that Vogue has been around almost 100 years before either showed up at their doorstep.
Would they have had the same clout if the two paired up 20 years ago at Maxim (or whatever, put in your own title)? Overall, good, not great. Not at the level of "Valentino.".
