Review of The September Issue (2009) by Chris L — 24 Sep 2009
I didn't watch this documentary expecting it to be as great as it was. This is a subject that could of been handled a different way and it wouldn't of been as accessible, but it really played more on the idea of people who work hard for what they have a passion for.
There is a certain amount of heartbreak that happens when you can't see eye to eye with your boss about something creative especially when you are trying not to repeat yourself. I feel like this film captured that thing left mostly unsaid in the workplace, common respect.
