Review of The Sentinel (1977) by Erin W — 10 Nov 2006
Excellent movie. the sentinel is like an angel who oversees the gates of Hell. A young woman who herself has struggled with life and death moves into an apartment building in NY for a great price. She then starts hearing noises at night and encounters crazy neighbors.
She has no idea she is at the gates of Hell and is chosen to be the next Sentinel, but the neighbors who are demons will stop at nothing to make sure the diocese will not suceed. Great performances by Chis Sarandon(Fright Night) and Beverly D'Angelo(National Lampoon's vacation).
