Review of The Sentinel (1977) by Dave S — 28 Oct 2011
It's like "Rosemary's Baby" meets "Mahogany" but without the pregnancy or any African-American characters. Yes, it's exploitative in some really misguided ways. Yes, it starts campy, then gets boring, and only then decides to become effective.
But the brisk pace and bizarre cast help make this a treat. Also, cat birthday party!
