This movie could have been better. I actually got excited when Harry Potter was getting popular because this book series came to mind as something that could hopefully ride the wave of juvenile fantasy films.
When I heard they were actually making a movie, I was surprised, but happy. Sadly, it doesn't do the book series justice. READ THE BOOKS!! They're much better, of course.
