One of the best kids book to movie adaptations I've seen in a long time. Predictable but entertaining and the music and acting were both above par. Alexander Ludwig was a million times better here than he was in his next movie Race to Witch Mountain.
Its not exactly going on my favorites list but I'd recommend it as a really good kids movie. Just go watch the trailer in the sidebar and decide for yourself.
