Review of The Secret of NIMH (1982) by Lorin U — 12 May 2009

The plot and various scenes are a little bit on the scatershot side, the villain doesn't even really show up till over half way through, but the movie is good enough that that doesn't matter much.

There's a feeling that the events we see are all part of some bigger story, and while there isn't very much in the way of explanation, it works well enough. Kinda dark and I can't really see kids getting into this one too much, but I liked it.

This movie's got better characterization than most of your animated movies.
