Review of The Secret of NIMH (1982) by Dean D — 29 Aug 2013

Since this was Don Bluths 1st movie, he sure did start off with a bang in his career. This movie has everything and it stays true to the classic golden age of animation. I love how detailed the backgrounds and characters are and the fact that this movie kicked but and made a lot of money for its time.

During the 80s many animated films (especially Disney) began to go down hill because they were terrible, but here is one movie that leaps above everything and became a beacon of hope for classic animation and animated films in general.

If you haven't seen it, you should. this is a great film for everyone.
