Absolutely gorgeous from start to finish. loved the stylised animation and iconic religious symbolism - like watching an illuminated manuscript come to life. the storytelling was quite good, but I also kind of feel that the film was too short.
just when you start really getting to know the characters and feel invested in the plot, the film switches gears and moves on to the next thing, but admittedly that's nitpicky. it leaves you wanting to see more, for sure.
overall, a mesmerising animated feature.
