Review of The Secret of Kells (2009) by Trevor R — 10 Oct 2010
An enchanting animation using symbolism rather than realism. The story wasn't intense nor shocking nor interesting, but the world created by the magical style was so captivating and the characters looked so amusing that I almost didn't mind the fact it just kind of ended, suddenly, with not much to speak of except for the way it was drawn.
Wouldn't recommend it if you're after a good tale, but if you want to feast on some gorgeous pictures and scenery, then go for it.
