Review of The Secret of Kells (2009) by Aubrey T — 17 Jun 2011
EXQUISITE art in this Irish-French-Belgian animated movie! The colors, shapes, and lines used makes fantastic imagery. I particularly loved the artwork of the forest. The music was also, so beautiful. To be honest I normally would not have turned on this kind of movie, and I didn't. My husband turned it on and I couldn't look away. No wonder it won an Academy Award.
I agree with another reviewer who said: "Favorite character of the movie? Pangur Ban!!! Cat's rock!!!".
