Review of The Secret of Kells (2009) by Jules E — 19 Oct 2011
This must be one of the most visually beautiful animated films I have ever seen. Sure the story isn't as complicated as you might think it is, but it has heart and a certain innocent depth to it that makes you relate to it nonetheless.
But even if you're not attracted to the story, you will find yourself gripped to your seat by the beauty of the animation and the dazzling colors. And the soundtrack by Bruno Coulais is perfect.
