Review of The Secret Life of Words (2005) by Tessa R — 15 Sep 2007
A captivating drama that keeps you staring at the screen as more and more is being revealed about the tragic lives of the main characters. A bit too slow at times and slightly too long, and I could have done without the romance.
Still this dark, deep drama is well worth a watch, and leaves you hopeful in the end. Polley does a great job, Robbins good too, and Julie Christie looks stunning still.
