Review of The Secret Life of Words (2005) by Codie E — 25 May 2008
This is beautiful and delicate drama from Isabel Coixet. The purposeful pace and timing of information was exquisite, as were the performances; another example that Sarah Polley (when given a good enough character) is one of the worlds most talented actresses.
Moody, funny, uplifting, impactful.
