While it's visuals are quite remarkable and it's voice cast is thoroughly on point, The Secret Life of Pets is still a predictable, forgettable and so-so animation film (at least from a narrative point of view).

While there is a decent ammount of laughs and heartfelt moments, Pets never manages to become relevant.
