The Secret Life of Pets has some good things going for it, such as the characters and how they perfectly matched the personalitites of the animals, but the story sometimes doesn't flow right and they try to add a touchy subject, and then completely ignore it seconds later.
In the end, Secret Life of Pets is a one time fun ride, but the movie doesn't leave a impact like Illumination has done in the past.
