All the reviews I heard or read before seeing this movie were rather negative, so for that reason and the fact that it didn't enter the UK Box Office top 10 put me off from seeing it for a while. Well having seen the movie I have to say the critics were wrong.
In the preview I saw, I was rather impressed with Jennifer Hudson's permanence but now seeing the whole movie I was really impressed with Sophie Okonedo. On the negative side, while Dakota Fanning was interesting I did see some holes in her performance.
